Positive Relationships
Positive Relationships is an 8-week educational group run during school terms which explores all aspects of domestic and family violence. A safe place where women can learn about Power and Control, the Cycle of Violence and build their relationship skills and knowledge in a supportive and empowering environment. Limited child minding places available.
Positive Relationships will be running in Term 1 2025 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Women’s Centre in Corrimal Street and we are registering for the program now. Click on ‘Learn More’ below for the program flyer.

Me; Beyond DV
Me; Beyond DV is an 8-week program for women who have previously completed the Positive Relationships program.
Me: Beyond DV will be running in Term 1 2025 on Wednesday.
This program is for women who have experienced domestic violence and are on the path to healing and recovery.
The program takes a trauma informed approach to unpacking the complexities of abusive relationships and equips women with the skills and resources to move beyond their experience.

Circle of Security
Circle of Security is an 6-week parenting program for women caring for children aged between 0 – 12 years. Run during school terms and designed to strengthen bonds, the program supports women to build healthy and secure relationships with the children in their care. Limited child minding places available.
The next Circle of Security program will be held in Term 2 2025 at the Women’s Centre in Corrimal Street.

The Women’s Patch
The Women’s Patch offers a beautiful space for learning and reflection, organic gardening, and community workshops and events. Join us on Friday’s during school terms from 10-12pm. If you are looking for a space to spend time in nature, dapple in gardening, enjoy morning tea with other women, or just have a look around. You are most welcome to join us.

Sister walk and talk
A monthly walk n talk opportunity for Koori women. The aim of these walks is to connect not instruction. It will be facilitated by a local Koori woman who will use strength-based card/topics to facilitate connective conversations which small groups or pairs can continue as they walk. Options will be established for short walks/accessible walks and tea conversations if you can't walk.

Decide To Dance
Decide to Dance is an opportunity for all women to reconnect with their body in whatever way the body allows. Make the choice to experience your authentic self again and enjoy the freedom to explore how you'd like move in every moment. Dance has been embraced by many cultures throughout history as a means of embodying feelings as a mode of expression, as well as actively engaging in the release of trauma that our bodies carry. Decide to Dance is currently being facilitated by Alisa Percy is fully trained in Dancing Freedom conscious dance.

Waruya Djarungali - Aunty Froggy Program
Run in partnership with UOW and The Womens Health Ctr this is a program developed to connect female identifying Koori youth to culture and country, boundary setting and personal development. Implemented in schools and on country.

W.I.S.E - Women Informed Supported Empowered
WISE (Women Informed Supported Empowered) is a program of tailored sessions designed to support women, aged 55+, who are experiencing or have experienced housing insecurity and isolation. Aiming to reduce social isolation and foster well-being, WISE connects participants to helpful services and organisations and provides opportunities for participants to build social networks, increase accessibility to resources, and enhance skills and education. Registration for each session is required.
